However, if my experience this morning isn't a perfect example of why we need distracted driving laws (STARTING with a hands-free cell-phone law) and why the cops need to make a concerted effort to pull people over more often for things besides speeding, I don't know what is. Here's a sort of stream-of-consciousness summary. Wednesday - Michelle and I spent the bulk of the day packing, packing, and packing. Arrived and checked-in at the Econo Lodge in Freeport without incident and without any heavy traffic. Ate dinner at Gritty McDuff's. And grabbed some in-room snacks at the local Shaw's. Visited L.L.
