On the Drawing Board. On the Drawing Board. An old tennis club to provide the venue for a creche for local children. I love 50's buildings, they have playful elements, round window, textured walls, sculptured forms in plan and elevation. I tried to build on this - the nursery is a 'bosom of a room' with a window opening directly too a beautiful existing tree, a light industrial roof straddles the entire eastern facade proving an outdoor classroom and sheltered play area for the children.
