位於：台南縣新營市長榮路一段331號 聯絡電話：（06）632-1995. 世界上的第一個父親節，1910 年誕生在美國。 1909年，住在美國華盛頓州士波肯市（Spokane）的杜德夫人（Mrs. Dodd, Sonora Louise Smart Dodd），當她參加完教會舉辦的母親節主日崇拜之後，杜德夫人的心裡有了很深的感觸，她心裡想著：「為什麼這個世界沒有一個紀念父親的節日呢？」. 杜德夫人的母親在她十三歲那一年時去世，遺留下六名子女；杜德夫人的父親威廉斯馬特先生（Mr. William Smart），在美國華盛頓州東部的一個鄉下農場中，獨自一人、父兼母職撫養六名子女長大成人。斯馬特先生參與過美國南北戰爭，功勳標榜，他在妻子過世後立志不再續弦，全心帶大六名兒女。 1909年那年，正好是斯馬先生辭世之年，當杜德夫人參加完教會的母親節感恩禮拜後，她特別地想念父親；直到那時，杜德夫人才明白，她的父親在養育兒女過程中所付出的愛心與努力，並不亞於任何一個母親的辛苦。 當時，父親節節日之構想一發起，立即得到市民之響應，熱烈舉行慶祝活動。 160; &...訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).

I now, almost, feel like i'm lost in a sense. Don't get me wrong, i'm not sad or depressed with the way things have turned out. I've never been happier! I can't thank you and praise you enough!
