On the commute home the other day with MakesMeLaugh, the coworker with whom I carpool (go me, I not only now drive to work, I share a ride . . . which does not make me any happier about not walking to work in case you wondered), made it her mission to discover where in thee hell. My car’s menu item "Driver Score" was buried. I frickin’ ran a red light! It’s still red! Got away with it, too (or you wouldn’t be reading this).

Saturday, July 19, 2014. Oh, For The Love. The dreaded business of painting the bedrooms is behind me thanks in great part to The Slayer and his CowGirl. I wonder if I will ever want to face the prospect of painting the living room and the kitchen. I have discovered the only thing I like about painting is the way the rooms look after the fact. I’m all happy with the lovely shade of orchid on my bedroom walls and have decided I need a new headboard for my bed to complete the look. I mean, what are the odds.
