May 23, 2014. This bush was one of two beautiful things about the backyard. It was full of dead and weed-filled grass, dog poop, and pine needles. Yet, here was this little bush and a fence full of lilac bushes that made me smile, beauty peeking out of the mess. This spring I kept meaning to prune the little bush. It had a few branches broken and hanging and some that appeared dead. I honestly couldn’t tell what was dead and what was alive so I decided to wait until it leafed out. Re joined with me.
