Saturday, September 11, 2010. Jimmy came home from class on Thursday with a dozen roses for me and asked me to go on a date Friday night. (How sweet,right? Do married people, especially married people with small children really go on dates? The only thing he would tell me about the date is that he would be wearing a suit. A suit? What could he possibly be plotting? Then he asked me if I needed a new dress. Woohoo! When does a girl not need a new dress? I have the best husand ever! You two look great :).

Friday, December 18, 2009. My Baby is One! It's crazy how fast a year can go by! I was looking back at some pictures of the day Elly was born, so I had to share a few on this post. I cannot even remember her being that small. 5lbs 5oz and couldn't even hold her head up is now 17 lbs and walking like a little pro! Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Fun in the Sun! Miami, Florida- Outside of Hard Rock Cafe- A great way to spend my birthday. Miami Beach- I was amazed at how beautiful the water is on Miami beach. Miami is such a big city, I was expecting the beach to be dirty, but it was gorgeous. We had so much fun finding cool shells and playing in the huge waves. The water was 75 degrees! There is a beautiful leaf-covered trail leading to a cute little log cabin, and it was just perfect for picture taking. It was sooo hard trying to get everyone to look and smile at the same time! Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Where have you been this summer? We got to travel to Oklahoma to visit with Nick, Sarah and the kids. We had a great time, here a some photos from that. Jessy and Jackie were both able to go with us. We traveled into Kansas to go to the mall. Jack and Jess stayed up all hours in the night to play guitar hero. We got to go exploring around the little town and found and old pool area calle Wientz camp. It was pretty neat. When we got home my dog had her pups lucky number seven.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Look what we woke up to yesterday morning. I thought spring came in March, but it looks like we are getting a good case of winter. 12 1/2 inches in 18 hours. Poor Elliot got stuck in the snow when I was shoveling the walk. He just sat there and whined. He usually likes to play in fresh snow, but I guess this was just a little too much. March 28, 2014. We spent one day of our Honeymoon at 8,500 courtesy of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Valley floor station, at approx 2,600 feet (elevation). On our way up the tramway! In view of the top! On top of San Jacinto mountain. Palm Springs is behind us, and in front of us lies a valley of snow! We had lunch at the top of the mountain in a fancy restaurant and then venturing down for the briefest of snowy hikes. Tune in for more Palm Springs Honeymoon adventures another time! March 27, 2014.
