Thursday, November 14, 2013. I wheeled into the express checkout at grocery store the other day. The woman in front of me had at least 25 items. Sheesh. I looked at the aisle sign, hoping it would reprimand her. I was surprised. What used to read “15 items or less” now read “about 15 items.” Mission creep.
