Thursday, August 28, 2008. Race Report: Chamberas 6K. Always what I thought cross country should be all about. A group of runners meeting in some field some place and racing through ungroomed woods and fields.". Two-time winner of the Thomas Chamberas 6K cross country race. I couldn't have summed the race. Up any better myself, not to mention this guy's won the damn thing two years in a row now, so who am I to argue with him. Anyway, I will. Fast Competitive. Technical. Raw. And call it a night. PS I swe...

Charlotte Covered Bridges 5K. Here are some adjectives to describe this race: surprising, beautiful, bizarre, exciting, bittersweet, hilarious! Spoiler alert: I won a teddy bear. Was still burning strong, and I just knew that this fall’s racing season was going to a blast. My foot was feeling better and I had a crew of new and old friends who were going to be at the race. Why not! I got in touch with the race director and switched to the 5k. On race morning, I met up with fellow bird Karen. There was one...

Seebo's Run: April 2005

A running commentary on my training and whatever else emerges from that. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. View my complete profile. Tale of 2 Tracks. Friday, April 29, 2005. Tough track workout yesterday. About 5 or 6 reps of 5,000 meters, anywhere from 13:30 to oh about 16 minutes. All that running, watching it that is, really tired me out. In that somewhat awkward attempt at humor I'm trying to say at the same time that I took yesterday off and that Penn Relays is here. Posted by seebo 9:09 AM.
