The trip will take approximately 3 months and is meant to be an enjoyable experience rather than an attempt at any speed record. Saturday, July 24, 2010. Sat, July 24. Today was the final stretch. One advantage of driving a little longer looking for a hotel last night was I had an easy drive today. I got home at 6:30 this evening. Here is my route:. Only one picture today:. I actually saw one more new animal today, a groundhog. Here is my final list of animals for the trip.
