September 11, 2014. Today, we travelled 60km west of Shanghai to a city called Suzhou, which is famous for its silk production, gardens and canals. Suzhou is one of the oldest cities in the Yangtze Basin and is over 2000 years old. September 8, 2014. We have spent the last four days on a cruise ship on the Yangtze River. It was an incredible journey on the third largest river in the world. We boarded the ‘Victoria. Grace Superior’at Chongquing and disembarked at Yichang. On the next day, we visited Qutang, Wu Gorge and Shennv Xi.
