West Coast - 11. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. The steak dinner costs $8.95 for the 6-oz! For dessert, we had a waffle topped with hot fudge, caramel and pecans with whipped cream. Quite tasty! We also visited Crazy Horse today. The carving of the mountain started in 1948. It remains a private venture run by the family of the sculptor who started it at the request of an Indian Chief. West Coast - 11. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Last night, we stayed on the Western side of the Tetons. Driving back over to Jackson Hole and Teton National Park, we literally drove down through the clouds. Then we saw the Grand Tetons in all their majesty. Clouds were not hiding their peaks today. West Coast - 11. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Mt Rushmore and Sylvan LAke. Today the weather was beautiful.sunny and warm. We went to Mt. Rushmore first thing, because the Mount gets morning sun.
