Saturday, April 27, 2013. To celebrate Eli's birthday we went to one of our favorite parks to play and swim. Eli's not as daring as he was last year so, so he spent most of the time playing at the edge of the water, while Bailey jumped right in! After swimming and playing we found a great little creamery in Penn Valley had a banana split. It's been a great way to celebrate our little guy- slides, swimming, and sundaes.h. Thursday, November 1, 2012. Halloween was pretty low key this year. Normally I really get into thinking up ideas for costumes and then asking my mom to create my vision. But this year I felt like the Halloween equivalent of Ba-hum-bug. Thankfully, Bailey didn't want to be anything to difficult, just Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. His costume every year! Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Annual Boden Family Vacation. Once again, it's time to share the photos from the Annual Boden Family Vacation to Lake Tahoe. This year, for the first time in 3 or 4 years, EVERYONE was able to go for the week. That means 20 people in ONE house- great fun, seriously! Friday, August 10, 2012. Jayson and I decided to take the kids on one last quick trip before I headed back to school, so we headed to Jayson's Mecca, Hot August Nights. In Reno, Nevada. We had a blast. We got a hotel room at Circus Circus and headed up the hill. We spent a little time looking at the cars each of the days we were there. And when we weren't looking at the cars we were playing at Circus Circus. This truck reminds me of Mater. Bailey wanted to "strike a pose" by all of the cars.
