More Animal Kingdom Fun! And to another kids discovery club so that we could exit the continent before being trapped by the afternoon parade. We definitely wanted to watch the parade, but preferred to be over near the DinoLand bridge off Discovery Island. Day 3: First Day at the Magic Kindom. And ate the picnic lunch we'd brought. Of course, walking around the island afterwards we spotted the much nicer picnic tables overlooking the riverboat landing, but that's how things go, I guess. State Parks and National Parks. Banana spiders that we saw along the nature trail. We then headed up to St. Augustine. We got into some traffic so decided to stop for lunch, and ended up at a perfect local seafood joint . popular, good hush puppies, yummy green beans, reasonable prices, just the sort of comfort food I was looking for. Clubs and Balls and Diabolos, Oh my! Southern Kind of Life. I started building model rockets when I was in 3rd grade. The first rocket I ever built was an Estes Wizard. About a year and a half ago I managed to successfully get my Level 1 certification at a launch in Richmond, VA. My rocket actually ended up landing in a tree (!
