This is a good picture to demonstrate the need for more depth of field in landscape shots. In order to get the logs in front and the mountains all clear, I had to use a small aperture (large f number), which slows down your shutter speed of course. If it's not a bright day a tripod becomes necessary. Then focus about a third up the distance, and you're grand. Judith A. Reardigan.
