Scattered Writings on Pop Culture and What I Call Life. Friday, February 25, 2005. There's No Place Like Homeless. I hate to be the guy who has to point out the obvious but it looks like it is going to be me again. I have been driving around a lot in my 8 years in Vancouver and I have finally had enough. Enough of what you ask? Nope, although annoying, that is not it. Although wet, and nothing like snow in the winter, which I miss, is not it either. What is it then? Scattered Writings on Pop Culture and What I Call Life. Monday, January 31, 2005. A Chance to Meet. I have always found the world of celebrity to be a bit strange and feel that there is no way that they can have a normal life. Even normal conversation would be hilarious because of the fact that they are major stars. Everyone can't really like everyone else but they must run into each other at times. Are they obliged to say hi? On the set of the movie "The Terminal". A Chance to Meet. Catherine: Well, let...

Scattered Writings on Pop Culture and What I Call Life. Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Another Run Bites the Dust. Well - Another 1/2 Marathon has come and gone. I have to say that this time around I feel really proud of myself but I can't help but think that it would have gone better if I had trained a little better. This time I ran during training to really just stay in shape rather than really turn on the jets and really try to improve. That being said I still finished in under 2 hours. First I like to ...

Scattered Writings on Pop Culture and What I Call Life. Monday, July 25, 2005. What Would Be The Scariest Thing? I am stuck. Writers block. I just stare at the page as if something will just magically appear from the page. I look back out the window for inspiration. I am hoping the clouds will form and shuffle into what I am looking for but alas, the sky only stares back with blue and a big ball of orange. After a few minutes my eyes hurt. Well it is too late to change it now. Ok, what else? Yeah, they c...
