Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Latrine Project is Finished! Well congrats the hard working mason Thierno from Kukuji, all those who dug their holes, and my village father Alpha Mamadou who carted the sand and gravel to each site; We completed the 15 latrines that I got the grant for a month ago. That’s 15 families who will now be able to stop pooping in the bush, which means less diarrhea for everyone! Too bad I didn’t have more time and money to get some more done. Especially to Thierno, that man is a beast of...

A jaraama Senegal!: COS: Close Of Service
http://ericlella.blogspot.com/2012/04/cos-close-of-service.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2012. COS: Close Of Service. About a week into April I said goodbye to my family and friends for two years, packed up my hut, gave my last gifts, handed my key to my Baba and I biked out of Pellel Kindessa. It was a sad experience, and the short ride to Dindefelo alone was bittersweet, I know I’ll go back again to visit sometime, I hope that it is sooner than later. Earlier that week when hiking out to the Dindefelo waterfall for one of the last times, I finally saw the chimpanzees!

There is No Random: Hello World
http://erinwest01.blogspot.com/2014/09/hello-world.html
There is No Random. Monday, September 1, 2014. Wow, I don't even know what to say. It's been two years (and remarkably Blogger hasn't changed! How do I even begin to describe to you what life has been like? At first I didn't know what to say, so I didn't post. Then it got to be so long that it seemed like too much of an ordeal to try to update. Then I forgot about it all. And now it's rediscovered. Have you ever rediscovered a journal that you wrote years ago? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

There is No Random: Devotion
http://erinwest01.blogspot.com/2012/08/devotion.html
There is No Random. Friday, August 31, 2012. And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. So take this seriously. The LORD has chosen you to build a Temple as his sanctuary. Be strong, and do the work.". What has the Lord chosen you to do? By telling a "white" lie?

http://erinwest01.blogspot.com/2014/09/bullet-points.html
There is No Random. Thursday, September 4, 2014. Bullet Points: Sep 2012-2014. What do you do when you haven't updated a blog in two years? Bullet points of randomness! But my blog title doesn't allow that. bullet points of unmethodological order or topic! I graduated from UCL! The arduous thesis journey ended! I've moved into what was Kira's apartment, which is awesome because it's better than the ones I've had, but I wish she were still here this year! My Chinese is way better than it used to be. I ran...

Thursday, May 3, 2012. My COS Trip to Sierra Leone and a Day Trip to Dubai. Our ferry friend, my bag, Leah, Amanda and Meera, all with beer, of course. Me, Leah, Amanda and Meera, this is basically how we got around all of our trip, except for boats. Beautiful countryside views throughout the entire drive. Some of the beach at Kent, the fishing village and where we caught the boat to Banana Island. Our guesthouse's beach on Banana Island. The main area of the guesthouse, with a second floor sitting canopy.
