Sarah from Virginia: Halloween Round-Up
http://sarahfromvirginia.blogspot.com/2012/11/halloween-round-up.html
Thursday, November 1, 2012. Last week, we had a big Halloween party for all the youngsters in our church primary organization. It's the second year in a row I've spearheaded this shindig, so you'd think it would be a piece of cake this time around - except that we combined our primary with another ward's primary and now it's approximately a million times bigger. But that meant that, for the kids, it was a million times more fun! The activities we had were:. A Candy Walk (Like a cake walk, but with candy).

Wood News: Busy couple of weeks for ID Woods
http://woodnews.blogspot.com/2014/02/busy-couple-of-weeks-for-id-woods.html
Sunday, February 23, 2014. Busy couple of weeks for ID Woods. We continue the settlement into our new house in Boise. It is starting to feel like home, though we still have more boxes to get through in the garage. The new commute for me has been great! I even have enough time to come home for lunch if I want to. One recent change I am not happy about is all the free parking across the street from my work place is disappearing. I do not want to purchase a parking pass, but it may come to that. Riggins, yo...

Sarah from Virginia: 16 months!
http://sarahfromvirginia.blogspot.com/2012/05/16-months.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. She is developing quite the little personality. She loves balls, dirt, rocks and books, roughly in the order. She's very social and talks and talks all day long, enthusiastically pointing at and naming everything she can. Ball! Etc etc.) Ben and I tried to list all the words she knows before her doctor's appointment last month and we decided to call it quits after we hit 60. She can count "Two, three! I do not want the other kids coming out of nursery with Dot's bite marks! The sad ...

Sarah from Virginia: October 2011
http://sarahfromvirginia.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 27, 2011. It was cold, snowy and dark then (at four in the morning on January 27); it's cold, snowy and dark now. But that's about the only thing that's the same! Dot is growing so fast. Sometimes I just want to shrink-wrap her and keep her this size forever, but I guess half the fun is the in seeing her learn and grow and change. We'll go to the doctor's next week for the official stats, but my guess is that she's still tall for her age - she's wearing 12 month clothes for the most par...

Wednesday, March 05, 2014. I checked the birthday book and I don't think there are any March birthdays for the family. Right? Am I missing anybody? Wait, when is Michael's birthday, Jonathan? If so, the next up are birthdays for Barry on April 1st and Calvin on April 6th. I got a nice postcard from Avalee this past week. I will send a reply, Avalee. Send your pitch and ideas to Christian. June is still nice in Arlington. Early July can be OK (or not). 4th of July in Washington, D.C? Love to all,.

My Imaginary Blog: Q & A (Miscellaneous questions, some pertaining to fish.)
http://my-imaginary-blog.blogspot.com/2007/11/q-miscellaneous-questions-some.html
Thursday, November 15, 2007. Q and A (Miscellaneous questions, some pertaining to fish.). If you are taking your family of six to a Japanese restaurant, and you are offered the "private booth," which does not allow for seat-belted high chairs, should you accept? Nothing adds excitement to your dining experience like having a 15-month-old run 50 times around the table, falling loudly on about half his revolutions, intermittently grabbing and throwing handfuls of cabbage and rice. What about the 7-year-old?
