Saturday, December 15, 2007. I am stuck in Kathmandu. After spending 2 days at the airport, I am getting a bit anxious I will never fly out of here. If it was pokhara, i would be a bit calmer as I would just head back to my yoga retreat and om away and perfect my chicken nose clearing dance! Monday, February 06, 2006. Bangladesh.here I come! On March 21 I will be leaving Sydney for Bangladesh. I will be living in Dhaka (capital) and working as a Community Development Officer with street children. I will be working on a project called VISIBLE which you can read and see more about here: www.visibleworld.org. Some trivia about Bangladesh:. Mostly Muslim (approx 83%). Monday, July 11, 2005. Birth of my blog. I have finally created this! It was a long time coming.not quite nine months but definetly a few weeks while I decided on a name. I even managed to combine two templates by cutting and pasting leftover. Programming code. The result.a very jodie like brown retro feel. Thursday, November 29, 2007. Through the kind donations of friends, I am arranging. For 150 of the street children at my old NGO. To get their eyes tested. If a child has poor vision they are less likely to participate in education and especially for the working children of the NGO. Are then more likely to be susceptible. To injury. We will be testing the children's. Eyes and treating any eye diseases and providing glasses for all children that need them. Posted by Jodie @ 9:23 am.

Friday, January 06, 2006. A Black Eye and A Mexican Crab. Christmas and New Years were eventful! I spent them in the beautiful Yasawa Islands of Fiji! On Christmas day Simon and I dressed up in santa hats and necklaces (good thinking Si) which were a hot favourite with the Fijian kiddies! So was Simon's polaroid! New Years Eve was a hoot with Simon bidding for a lonely mexican crab 'tequila' in the international crab race! The crab was a speedy gonzales and won him first place! Posted by Jodie @ 6:38 pm.
