Sunday, July 10, 2011. Long Time No Post Part 2. Another reason why I haven't blogged much is that on the 3rd Feb, Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi crossed the coast at the township of Mission Beach (where I live) and then crossed the township of Tully (where I work) shortly after. Yasi formed into a cyclone near Vanuatu on the 30th Jan and continued to intensify and move slowly west. I found satellite images on the internet which illustrate how large this storm system was. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. I do really miss my northern friends but we keep in regular contact and I hope to visit again mid-year. I have heaps of relatives around here and enjoy being able to be part of their fortnightly morning teas. Saturday, June 18, 2011. Long time no post. After the opperation she was told that she wouldn't need any chemo but when she went to see the oncologist she was told that she would need chemo asap as the cancer was invasive. Ahhhhh! Makes you wonder if some of these doctors can read! Mum started chemo the following week. She had to have 4 treatments every 21 days. My Mum and I - Christmas holidays 2010. Until then, right now I weigh 325.8 pounds. I am 36 and 5’6. I have failed about every day, every week and every year for the last 15 plus years in losing weight.
