Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Mormon Tabernacle Choir 2015 East Coast Tour - Part 1. Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Three chartered airplanes with first class attention, a three and a half hour flight, a short bus ride to the hotel and we are in Bethesda, Maryland, home of our first two concerts. Thursday, March 28, 2013. A few days of five kids. All five watching My Little Pony. Yeah my camera was acting weird too and made Aryssa REALLY white :) ha ha. Enjoying food with everyone. Sunday, May 31, 2015. The scouts in our ward come out to our house and removed the dead and mostly dead trees out back, as well as weeding the flower gardens in the front. I didn't get a head count but my guess was that we had a party of 15 young men, and not-as-young men working in our yards. We are so thankful for their service, and amazed at how quickly those awful trees disappeared. They felled a tree before I could even get a real "before" shot of the backyard. And they all fell down. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. A little bit of catch up. Well I know the last time I blogged it was January so I thought instead of doing a ton of new posts I would just do a longer update one. I will try to keep up better from here on out. So Feb: We started off with Evylee's 6 year birthday! I can not believe that my baby girl is getting so old. We had a bunch of family and all of her cute little friends come over. She had so much fun and it was such a fun day! Evy loves her little dolls. This makes 3 :).

Sunday, August 4, 2013. On the River - Boise Style. July 25, 2013. With Emily, Joe, and Potts. We started out dry and happy, feeling the exhilaration of being back on the Boise River. Floating was our favorite summertime family activity when we lived here twenty plus years ago. But for the most part, it is a nice, relaxing ride. It wasn't long before we were filled with a foot and a half of water. We balanced on the tube part of the raft. Until half of it partially deflated leaving us with half-a-raft.

Sunday, May 25, 2014. Randy and I swept Jenni's Fitness Challenge; Randy won the "pot of money" by loosing the largest percentage of his original weight (down 42 lbs.), I had top accumulated points (only missed two) and lost 20 lbs by being consistent. Prior to leaving on tour, we attend a manditory meeting in the Tabernacle. Designed to instruct, remind, and motivate, I like to think of it as a pre-tour pep rally. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Cross that one off my Bucket List. I have some trouble with the draining effect of heat, so Randy and I started out at 6:00 am. A one hour drive from St George to Zion, parking and shuttling through the canyon brought us to the Grotto trailhead (which is also the Angel’s Landing trailhead) stop #6 at about 8:00 am. Equipped with comfortable shoes, water, and hiking sticks, we were ready to go. I must have stopped at every turn, but I still felt great! This is what we came for!

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. Received my third and last steroid injection this evening at Dr. Alldredge’s Bountiful office. He seemed pleased with the immediate and positive results. Dr Digre’s office called me this morning. I explained my situation and chosen emergency treatment and it prompted a call from Barbara who is directing the clinical study. I am all set up for an MRI on Monday. God must have a hand in making fortune cookies. This particular one was made especially for me. Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Thursday, September 26, 2013. When the Mountains Call. 8220;The mountains are calling and I must go.”. Packed up yesterday morning and made the journey (of 15 minutes) to the mountains and Tanners Flat. It is amazing to me how we can be SO close to home and yet so far away. Beautiful spot #16 right by the rushing water. I can hear my mother exclaim, “Smell the pine trees! 8221; The aspens are just beginning to display their golden Autumn colors. One whole day with nothing pressing to do. Be Where You Are.
