Of Bars, Booze, and Bartending - Proving "Coughlin's Law" Invalid Since Feb '05. Thursday, April 21, 2005. Nomar had a terribly painful at-bat against the Cardinals tonight. it's all over ESPN, and it's so cringeworthy, it makes you turn away. Hey, it's a shallow league. And we're getting cheaper and lazier through the years, using Yahoo's free leagues with auto-draft and pre-ranking. Plus, my draft strategy could have used a little tweaking. I used to be a lot better at fantasy baseball. Well, Nomar's h...

Of Bars, Booze, and Bartending - Proving "Coughlin's Law" Invalid Since Feb '05. Saturday, November 26, 2005. I'm Just Destroyed About Nick and Jessica. The Newlyweds Are Dunzo For Rizzle! It's a sad Thanksgiving for all of Cincinnati, and her native son, Nick Lachey. Although I poke fun at him, liberally, I wish him well, and thank him for sparing us any further "Nick and Jessica Christmas Specials". About floor managers that they can't wait three minutes for the professional to mix the drink? Build on ...

Of Bars, Booze, and Bartending - Proving "Coughlin's Law" Invalid Since Feb '05. Thursday, March 31, 2005. April, Come She Will. What a beautiful day. It's worth repeating, it was so beautiful. What a beautiful day! Today was my dreaded weekly double-shift, easy as pie. No money in it, due to lack of business, but easy as pie! The perfect weather likely kept them away. Perfect day to picnic. Simply lovely. Can't blame the customers for staying outside on the first decent day of spring. I had much more af...

Of Bars, Booze, and Bartending - Proving "Coughlin's Law" Invalid Since Feb '05. Sunday, July 24, 2005. Read Frank Rich, while he's still free. Off-Topic: Current Events Break! Frank Rich never disappoints, and this week he nails the Rove/Plame scandal. He ties it all together, brings up things we'd all forgotten about, and manages to sneak in a "weapons of mass destruction-related program activities" reference. I'd forgotten about that last one. One of my the classic "flip-flops.". Eight Days in July.

The best part of my day off. waking up, trying to remember what day it is in the early morning fog, and then realizing that. I don't have to work today. After that, it's pretty much downhill. Just goes by too fast. Posted by JenJen at 7:04 PM. Wednesday, February 23, 2005. Customers who Kick Ass, Part One. Posted by JenJen at 8:07 PM. Enough with the Cosmos, already. Of Bars, Booze, and Bartending - Proving "Coughlin's Law" Invalid Since Feb '05. Sunday, June 26, 2005. I blame that stupid, stupid movie, "Sideways". Golfers. It had Paul Giamatti, and Sandra Oh. And the amazing scenery of the wine country around Santa Barbara. It made me laugh. I loved it. We're slammed Saturday night, getting deep at the bar, and the service printer is going. The wait is long, but we're turning the hightops like crazy. It's a smooth, but insanely busy, evening. The glasses have been p...

Tuesday, April 27. This affects roughly 0% of people who read this. New Belgium is taking their ass-kicking production and sales to the West coast with the plans for a smaller brewing facility slated for the left side. But what's most shocking: "New Belgium Brewing Co., which was ranked No. 7 in the country in terms of overall beer sales by the Brewers Association, is quickly reaching its barreling capacity in Fort Collins and eyeing the West Coast for expansion.". They are already number 7.(!

The Brewthusiast.: Think Globally, Drink Locally!
http://thebrewthusiast.blogspot.com/2010/04/think-globally-drink-locally.html
Wednesday, April 21. Think Globally, Drink Locally! Great find from JimStock on the Denver Business Journal:. Coors unit's Colorado Native beer: 99.8% Coloradan. A brand incubator for Coors. I cant applaud Coors loud enough for this move. (Think of Wal-Mart churning out a local $14 shovel.just inconceivable). My question is this: What the hell is a Snap-tag? Yes I could google it, but B, Im looking for an industry answer here. April 22, 2010 at 12:32 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
