Monday, September 28, 2009. I had never been there before so I found a newly renovated hotel that looked neat on the Gran Via near the El Sol part of town. Our room was awesome and the view from the balcony was great although the night creatures were a little creepy in the neighborhood our first night. We stayed at the Regente Hotel. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Yesterday, TJ found us two fans for our very warm and sometimes uncomfortable home. It is creeping up into the 80's with some humidity and will be close to 90 F by weeks end so we decided to make things more tolerable for ourselves, although once we get into July they may not even help. Monday, May 31, 2010. All the best to everyone, and for the last time. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Our Hilton Head style home sure needed a little curb appeal and the process has certainly began with some help from my parents. The door color isn't right yet, but we are on the right track as they planted some pretty stuff and seeded the near inexistent grass. Almost after (not the best photo). Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Jet Lag or Something Else? TJ, Tut, and I all got back on Sunday from our trips to the United States and I seem to be the only one with a jet lag problem! Sunday, November 29, 2009. We finally made it to Hawaii after over 17 hours in the air and 25 hours of complete traveling. You would think that we would be exhausted.but not us we are in full force! Monday, December 28, 2009. Vesele Vanoce" is how they say "Merry Christmas" in Czech (although I know I am missing symbols above some letters). Christmas was warmer than we expected with no snow, Thank you Jesus, but still a little chilly. Friday, August 28, 2009. After Zurich, we traveled to our next hotel in Rorschacherberg, Switzerland. It sits on a hill overlooking the Bodensee, also called Lake Konstanz. The Bodensee is nestled between Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and is absolutely enormous and beautiful. Our hotel was so cute and charming!
