Saturday, February 16, 2008. Tonight Sam received an achievement award from his Kumon program. Sam has been working at his reading and retention exercises every day and making good progress. His school grades are reflecting his progress and efforts. We are all very proud of him for all his hard work. This is a picture with his teacher - Farzan(sp). Sunday, April 20, 2008. This week end we cut down a 5 0 to 60 foot tree in the back yard. I was dead and needed to come down before the ants nested in it . They hollow out the trunk and the trees can easily fall in the highs winds that accompany thunder storms. Ryland. Is standing at the bottom of this stand of Sweet Gums.
