The vanishing month of May. Well it's June. I'm not sure where May went but it's off. I vaguely remember what happened. I traveled all over the country shooting portraits and some architecture/travel bits. I did a shoot for BBC Homes and Antiques for their 2013 award winners. This is John Dixon owner of Georgian Antiques Edinburgh H&A Antiques shop of the year 2013. John was lovely and the shop is amazing! If you're in Edinburgh you should take the time to check it out. Tomorrow, the world. It's been a week of shooting portrairts outdoors this week which is my love. I was at Inveraray Castle to shoot portraits of the Duke of Argyll for an Italian Style Magazine. The sky was just moody enough to add some drama to the shots. These are a couple of out-takes. Once the images have gone to press I'll show off the others. Inveraray Castle is in a beautiful location and it is a proper fairytale castle so if you have the chance to get there and have a look around I recommend it.

Katie Leung In Glasgow. So this month has been another busy one I have been shooting editorial portraits. I met the lovely Katie Leung in Glasgow and the very welcoming Corinne Boyd-Russell in Peebles. I was also involved in the Book - Film - Painting. Project where a group of international photographers were tasked with recreating or reinventing either a book, film or painting. I went with Vertigo. Katie Leung In Glasgow. I've been quite busy lately and it's been a mixed bag of the usual and the never been done. I have been off shooting some nice relaxed portraits for the Sunday Mail's finance bit as well as corporate head shots for a few more government departments which is great. We were working with 8-12mm fish-eye lens which are about as wide as you can go (which is why event after conversion these still have a bow to them.). I am super excited to see the results. I can't believe it's the end of October already! Here is a couple of the portraits from the National Museum 'Lates' photo session last Friday. Well one of the shots and a behind the scenes image. After all that 18th century fun I was off to 21st century London to shoot portraits for Sherman and Sterling. Well there's one for the books, an actual summer in the UK. Not even some slightly sunny, little bit warm day; but three weeks of sunshine and good times! I have been shooting all over the country. Natrail/Scotrail head honchos, Gary Jamieson and The big Issue, Mail on Sunday, Runners World, Style Golf etc, etc. There is other work that is yet to go to print so when it does I'll be sure to put it all up.
