After 15 years of being able to manage my asthma with only occasional meds and rescue inhalers, my luck ran out. I put off going to the doctor because I was SURE I could handle it myself. I absolutely hate going to the doctor. I avoid it if I can help it and tend to only go when I'm really sick or injured. Things eventually resolved and I told myself, "No big deal, see? I am me, who else would I be?

So the whole family got a letter from Santa saying to meet in California, we got there and found out that he was sending us all to Disneyland for an early Christmas present this year. Robert, Debi and the kids met us at the hotel, and we spent the next three days running all over the park. It was a blast to get an early Christmas treat. Thanks Santa! Looks like such a fun trip! Tuesday, May 20, 2008. This past weekend I was able to visit my brother's family in Mesa. My neices and nephew are so much fun to be around, and I was able to witness record breaking heat. It reached 110 over the weekend (we are still in May aren't we? So here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip. Little Alyssa is such a sweet baby.
