Using ಠ_ಠ to Throw Exceptions – Andy Kutruff

Using ಠ ಠ to Throw Exceptions. February 8, 2011. January 11, 2014. Most people don’t know that you can oftentimes put Unicode characters in your code. However, the look of disapproval is gold, and I am now going to use it to throw exceptions. Public static void ಠ ಠ(string error) { throw new Exception(error); } public static void CreateFile(string path) { if(File.Exists(path) { ಠ ಠ(error: file exists); } File.Create(path); }. 19 thoughts on “ Using ಠ ಠ to Throw Exceptions. Computer Science is a huge pass time of mine outside of the school setting. I have worked on a few projects, but have always been nervous to put them online. This is going to change in the next few months as I start to put code on github. I also love to climb! I find it relaxing break from the stresses of everyday life, and if you have never try it I suggest you go out and find a gym now!

I focus my teaching into two areas: 1) Outreach with grade school kids and 2) undergraduate lab instructor. I like to incorperate fun activities into all of my teaching to try and get students to live the concepts instead of just listening to me lecturing them. This is expected at the younger age (As grade school students rarely want to listen to someone lecture them! I have been the TA for Computer Science 106. Currently I still run the afterschool club and have two classes Monday (Grade 3-5) and Wednes...

Hello World!
http://www.stevenlonergan.com/Personal/2011/11/30/Coding-Project.html
Finally www.stevenlonergan.com is online! I am excited to start writing and showing bits and peices of my code online. I have always been nervous bringing my writing and projects into the real world, but as my roommate once mentioned the worse thing that can happen is someone posts a patch for a bug. Along with this site I am going to start to use my github. You know who you are!

Skip to main content. You saw my name in a github pull request and googled. Admit it. My alarm tells me what to do and how to feel. June 27, 2012. I needed a way to set my clock alarms from my computer. I decided, in addition to that, I need a program that will randomly select an activity and a ‘theme’ for the day, and my alarm should let me know what they are in the morning. The alarm consumes a web service provided by http:/ seekdayday.clarkebrunsdon.com. With the code available on my github.

In case it ever becomes useful to anyone for any reason, the admin interface of a D-Link 655 (and likely other dlinks) uses a host’s MAC/IP address to keep authentication. This means, if someone logs in to a D-Link router you can spoof their ip/mac address to gain access to the admin without a username/password.

Orbital Command Network Visualizer | Clarke Brunsdon

Skip to main content. You saw my name in a github pull request and googled. Admit it. Orbital Command Network Visualizer. December 1, 2010. For a long time I’ve wanted a quick way of spitting out the topology of a network into an easy-to-digest image. I couldn’t find any Open Source network visualizers I liked, so I sat down with John Hawthorn. We found Sophsec’s nmap-ruby. As I discussed in my previous post about my dir-655. For a first-generation renderer. I had to overcome a few annoying problems (abo...
