Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Day 4 – Saturday. After another early morning visit from the local deer, Shane and I decided to give the slopes another chance. We headed out, and fortunately the road conditions had improved immensely overnight! We made it to Ski Apache within 30 minutes, and after exploring the ski area we had lunch and then geared up to do some skiing! Good news – there was enough snow for us to get some pretty good skiing in and we really enjoyed the laid back nature of the day. Since we d...

Wednesday, December 29, 2010. We had a pancake breakfast at Sean's request. Since we were the last to board our plane, Sean got to talk to the pilots. Then even let him touch the instruments! Here's a photo of Sean in the cockpit:. Posted From Shane's iPhone. Our last day in Panama! Or so it was supposed to be. Fortunately, Tio Abel was able to come and pick us up (because we had already returned our car) and we stayed in the condo one more night. Posted From Shane's iPhone. Here is a photo of the party:.

Monday, November 19, 2012. Thanksgiving Vacation - Day 2. We woke up early and snuck out of Amarillo like thieves in the night; Sean commented that the whole town smelled like cow poop. and he was right. With the smell of Amarillo behind us we wound our way up the climbing roads to Red River. By a shocking coincidence, we arrived at our destination at the exact same time as Papa and Lita. First on the agenda: Watch the Cowboys defeat the Browns! After our wildlife adventure we settled in for a night of S...

http://mandareid.blogspot.com/2014/10/punta-cana-day-tres.html
Wednesday, October 08, 2014. Punta Cana - Day Tres. Had a quick breakfast before heading to the beach. They had lounge chairs and shady umbrellas. Normally I would have been burnt to a crisp after an hour, but it odd it's job. After lunch we hit one of the pools. The pool stretches on and on, but it was ridiculously shallow. Them we went back to the beach. We had dinner at their Asian restaurant. It was okay. Transformers showing in open air theater. Please, no feet shots. Punta Cana - Day Quatro.
