Come with us on an adventure! Monday, June 6, 2011. Granada, Nicaragua - why did we wait so long! We finally came across the border into Nicaragua. We were heading to take the local bus, but we gound a taxi to take us the 2 hr trip for $40 so we just couldn´t refuse. We decided to take a ride around the city in a carriage becuase they are the same price as a taxi here, and it would be a fortune back home in Leavenworth. It has a European feel to it. It is well lighted, safe, full of people and wonder...

After replacing a door from a window and opening a wall with my dad, it was easy to see that there was a strong need for a new orphange here, and this is in perfect time, because a new one is being built. Come with us on an adventure! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. A parade, Goin´fishin´, eatin in the dark! Then there was some free food, and finally a soccer game. After that we still decided to take the taxi to Cocotal beach. And I´m glad that we didn´t decide to try to ride it, it would have been pretty tough.
