The roof was done with a 3/4" x 18" sawn shake to match what was on the building when it was built. Monroe Tavern, where the revolutionary war started. Shaker Heights, OH. This is a historical project that required matching the original shakes. The Shakes are 3/4" x 22" with a clear 15" exposure. The owner face nailed them, because that was done on the original shakes. Saturday, October 31, 2009. The girls had so much fun trick or treating this year. We went in the wagon all through our neighborhood. They ate their first lollipop and candy necklace.
