Trying out my camera. The Things She Says. The Things She Says. A place to write all Butterfly's words of wisdom]. Mummy, when is "one day"? After I told her she is a Tom Boy:). No, I don't want the name Tom Boy, only G@vrie11e Ann! Background - Butterfly was bothering my mother. I tried to talk to Butterfly to explain to her that she should stop.]. Mummy, this is my problem, not your problem! Mummy, I don't want you to die before me because I want food in a saucepan and I can't. A mother of two.

Trying out my camera. The Things She Says. Wednesday, 23 July 2014. I See the Sea. Then this year, our homeschooling group decided that since it is too hot in the summer to meet at place X during the morning-early afternoon, that we shall shift to a late afternoon beach gathering. Yay, I thought! We shall have lots of sea this year! Well hmmm. so far none! I mean there was a first gathering which I couldn't attend but then. again, a big no-no. We should wait ten minutes (that's the official. To a little ...

My Pathway to Motherhood: January 2014
http://asinglemotherbychoice.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Trying out my camera. The Things She Says. Tuesday, 21 January 2014. That is the new year for trees (yes, we have a new year for trees :-) ) and a day we celebrate by planting (and eating dried fruit). So Butterfly and I did some planting. Hope you can see the tree we just planted :-). It is probably a cypress, but did you know that pines live about 400 years! Those are the two types of trees that were given out to be planted]. Thank you for commenting on my previous post! Links to this post. I'm not dea...

And Then There Were 2!!!: July 2014
http://jennandtate.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
And Then There Were 2! I can't remember a time I didn't want to be a mother. I waited to meet the man who would love me forever and be a father to my children. At 39, he hadn't arrived. I knew I was meant to be someone's mom, so my life plan changed. At 41, I got pregnant on my first try with home insemination! Nine months later, my beautiful boy, Tate arrived! We've been together now for over a year. I'm happy, exhausted and in love. I wouldn't have my life as a choice mom any other way! He completely e...

Trying out my camera. The Things She Says. Monday, 26 August 2013. Before I get to my post, let me say a word or two about "followers". As I was entering the dashboard in order to write this post, my eye happened to notice my followers. 39 of you! And now - numbers. If I did do tags, I would have tagged this under. Unschooling (but I don't bother with tags.). It was just a wow and I had to record it :-). My lucky number has always been 7! Links to this post. Saturday, 17 August 2013. I am sure I said thi...

Guilt | after they hatch

Parenting after infertility and loss. February 10, 2014. I got a call from my sister today asking for advice about her daughter and daycare. A family member has offered to watch her baby for her but my sister is hesitant because she was thinking of putting her in a daycare that has a preschool curriculum and is afraid that the family member might not spend the time to do lessons. And it made me feel horrible. What kind of mom am I if spending time with my daughter on the floor is a (rare) exception?

My thoughts on becoming a Single Mother by Choice, and how I'm going to get there. Saturday, March 9, 2013. Today I am 18.5 weeks pregnant and I can't believe how fast the time is flying by. Having a toddler and a full time career really does keep me busy and I haven't been nearly as obsessive about the new baby as I was the first time around. Oh, and it's a girl. :D. March 9, 2013 at 10:05 PM. Good luck with the bed. March 10, 2013 at 3:57 AM. One of each will be fun! March 10, 2013 at 4:31 AM. 07/27/20...

My thoughts on becoming a Single Mother by Choice, and how I'm going to get there. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Holy crap my back freaking hurts and this (*& %&$#* heartburn/acid reflux is just ridiculous. I am on prescription ranitidine for it, but sometimes it just doesn't help. I really wanted to be able to avoid getting worn out and exhausted with labor before I go have major surgery. Not to mention having to deal with my 2 year old. I'm in for a long week sigh.
