Today we were able to do that in a new way for Ohana. This morning, Jenetta took Ohana over the hill for her first riding lesson. It is a lot to learn, but she did well, and she really enjoyed it! Saturday, August 20, 2011. A number of foster and adopted kids from San Diego County got to participate in a golf camp at Calloway this morning. The company was so nice - the kids got golf clubs, hats, balls, and a lot of personal instruction. I think the older kids benefited from the lessons a lot more, but our girls sure had a fun time. Friday, September 9, 2011. Building community due to power outage. Yesterday we had an interesting experience. I was looking forward to an evening on the couch first to hear what the president had to say about jobs and then watching a good football game. But at 3:40, our entire county lost power. It had been in the upper 90s, so the house quickly got too hot. We've lived on this street for 9 years now, and I think I spoke more last night with some of my neighbors than I ever had before. I always thought that Abigail was just mellow and laid back. Who knows, she may still be that way overall, but I'm realizing that it had a lot to do with the fact that she is a female. Morales Family 4 Life. Thursday, May 19, 2011. A breath of fresh air. Abby girl had a blast for her very first camping trip! She fell asleep right away in the tent by herself - we were just outside by the fire with friends - and she slept through the night. Although, I didn't much sleep however, because the mommy in me just kept waking at her every toss and turn to check on if she was bundled up or not to keep warm. It got down in the 30's overnight.it was cold! He's doing this funny little bit now.

July on the Fly. The month of July has been busy and full of small but wonderful moments. J and I have thoroughly enjoyed being home with Landon and Landon has been nothing but smiles (well almost) having mom and dad there with him all day. Daily we look at Landon and each other and are overcome with such satisfaction and love. I can't believe how much I love being a mom to Landon and a wife to J. Landon is growing sooooooo fast! I'm 30 and it is my 1st Fathers Day! Turning 30 happened the exact way I wanted it to. Quiet, slow, no big deal made about it and lots of time with my little family. The biggest birthday gift was the fact that the 9th was the last day I had to work for 10 weeks! We are so so so looking forward to our time with Landon. He is so much fun to watch grow. Marriage kicks ass when you are with a great woman! Safe to say it is a male lion. His favorite animals were ducks! You get the idea. Good times with friends.

Imagine leaving a room completey drenched in sweat with not a single square millimeter of your body dry. As a matter of fact if you were to ring out your clothes it would easily fill the majority of a pint sized glass. . Such was my experience on Firday afternoon for 90 minutes. A friend told me about (actually more dared me) a type of yoga that you do in a 105 degree room. I took the challenge on and I loved it. . If you want a friend to go with you hit me up. .
