I think it turned out pretty good, I can see some of the flaws in it because you made them but you can’t work on something forever. Friday, January 13, 2012. Carson Can (almost) Read! We have a leapfrog toy with the letters of the alphabet that you can plug into the base and it makes the sounds and sings a song about each letter. It's magnetic and looks so cluttered on the fridge, but the kids like it. Anyway, he's been spelling his name with the letters and the other day I asked him to spell 'cat' and he did! Tuesday, September 11, 2012. Just had a birthday! He seems like a such a big boy and plays with Carson and the neighborhood kids like he's 10 years old. He's a pretty tender heart though and will burst in to tears if the right person looks at him the wrong way. His nursery teacher told me he's a little gentleman. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Burkie (ok, and all the rest of us) loves his "chockit spead" or Nutella. The kids like it on toast for a treat. I like it on a spoon. Mark took a charge while playing basketball one night and landed hard on his shoulder. He was pretty miserable for a couple weeks. We iced it and he took ibuprofen faithfully (a big deal for him) and it's mostly better now. He still gets a twinge every now and then with sudden movements, but hopefully those will go away too. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. The weather's getting warmer. It's rainy and windy and cold a lot still, but things are warming up. There are buds on the trees. People's daffodils are out. Monday, August 17, 2009. What we've been up to. The past few months have just flown by and sadly summer is over. It seems as though the weather here has changed from "too hot to play outside" to rainy and cold. Hopefully the Sun will come out soon and we can enjoy the fall weather.
