After I was reminded of its existence by a friend who sent along this post on “ Nerdigras. 8220;, the family decided that on 3/14 at 1:59, we would host a Pi(e) Day Party. This appealed greatly to my math geek 11yo, as well as his party- and sweets-loving brothers. A party all about eating dessert? What’s not to love! Great fun was had by all, so we might be making this an annual event!

Ramblings on being a mom, cancer survivor, artist, etc. Thursday, January 08, 2009. I saw my med onc yesterday and he confirmed that the pesky tumor has disappeared from the ct-scan! So as best as can be determined at this point I am NED (no evidence of disease- which just means they can't find any cancer which is about the best one can hope for) again! With cancer you are never 100% in the clear, but where I am now is pretty darn good and I'll take it any day! I am grateful you do cancer weird!

I'm going to try posting this to see if it will let me. So the only thing I can think of is that someone objects to the use of the "4" letter word cancer? I doubt it's just the fact that cancer is discussed, but perhaps the gyn aspect triggers some content filters (or is that what you meant by "4 letter"? April 27, 2009 3:23 PM.

Next test is the last week of December, so I can focus on the holidays now. It took forever at the mammo place this morning, apparently they had one room down and it set everything way back.
