Poetry. Obviously.: October 2007
http://poeticboredom.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
This is a selection of poems composed by me as and when everyday happenings and experiences inspire me to lash out with poetic dissolution in life's tumult. The poems themselves have very high literary merit - if you find that you do not share this view, then you are probably a fool. Obviously. Favourite Music: My voice. Favourite Film: My life. Favourite Book: My auto-biography. Gender: A hell of a woman. Sick Duck in Muck. This Life is a Bastard. Poem about my Poems. Sunday, October 21, 2007.

Vagina Dentata on Film! | Newt In A Tea Cup
https://newtinateacup.wordpress.com/2007/11/20/vagina-dentata-on-film
Newt In A Tea Cup. November 20, 2007} Vagina Dentata on Film! And of female sexuality which must be literally broken before being of use as per one myth relayed by Erich Neumann. But then there’s something so bad it’s hilarious about it. And Queen of Wands. Hardly hurts the general image. Fact is, I think it’d be kind of cool to have one. So this really could swing wildly towards a hilarious montage or towards misogyny incarnate. Tcupnewt @ 8:45 pm [filed under Body. Tagged funny or offensive? What we di...

Newt In A Tea Cup. November 15, 2007} pirates of the seven seas. Now my aim is to take this whole debate outside the high ground of morality because it doesn’t have anything to do with morality. Many women who I have helped have said they are generally against abortion but that their situation is ‘different’. Rebecca Gomperts is right on the money and deserves our respect and support for, not only her insight, but her courage to put that into action. Tcupnewt @ 5:38 pm [filed under (S)heroes. Miss… Landmine? | Newt In A Tea Cup
https://newtinateacup.wordpress.com/2007/11/21/miss-landmine
Newt In A Tea Cup. November 21, 2007} Miss… Landmine? Is a beauty competition ever feminist? That’s a valid question. Well, here’s a bit of subversion. It’s Miss Landmine. Kudos to them all. The most interesting and moving thing I found was the description. First of the clothes with their prices, then the jewellery and then the mine; it’s country of origin, type and method of detonation. We talk about a women’s power as being her looks but what good is that against a landmine? November 28, 2007 at 1:18 pm.

American Parliament: Bush Decides '07 v 2.0
http://americanparliament.blogspot.com/2007/07/bush-decides-07-v-20.html
The British are coming! Tuesday, July 3, 2007. Bush Decides '07 v 2.0. One of the problems of having a constitution is that it's so bloody difficult to change things. Gordon Brown is considering a constitutional overhaul. 1 Judges are appointed according to their politics. 2 Judges are fired according to their politics. 3 Judges are over-ruled by politicians. Perhaps it is time to stop the president from appointing and firing judges? Or commuting and pardoning? Perhaps you're conflating judges with US At...

American Parliament: Bush: good, or not?
http://americanparliament.blogspot.com/2007/07/credulous-adam-liptak.html
The British are coming! Sunday, July 8, 2007. Bush: good, or not? Offers a way to judge Bush's commutation of Libby's sentence. He reviews Bush's record of pardons and commutations when he was governor of Texas. And guess what? It was "at odds with his decision in the Libby case.". Goebbelsite refrain - that Bush spent "weeks and weeks" deliberating over the case, and came to a decision derived from objective and abstracted reasoning from legal principles - wanting. Of course! Wow So, like, if robbed the...
