Friday, May 4, 2012. Tonight we had a baby shower for a friend of mine, Olivia Hathaway. She's due in July and having a little girl and we're very excited for her! We had baby-sized burgers, mini mac n cheese, little veggie cups, tiny cookies and cupcakes. During the shower, we also made binky clips and headbands, rather than play typical baby shower games. Zane, Kassidy, and Colin also all get a big thank you. We made the buns and Zane grilled up the burgers. Thanks for coming ladies! Chris and Ashton 1.

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. It's the Holiday Season. I had such grand plans of what I would do on the blog for this special time of year. and so far, it hasn't (obviously) happened! But oh well. Friday, March 30, 2012. For the past couple of weeks, it has. Feel like spring around here. The weather has been unusually warm, and I think I've maybe worn my wool coat twice. which is a big deal in good ol' Laramie at this time of year. I've even put my snow boots away and I am really looking forward to when everything starts to blossom and turn green around here! And with the advent of spring, it also means General Conference! Saturday, September 22, 2012. An Update in Pictures. It has been a crazy summer. and that has turned into a crazy fall. Soooo, for your viewing pleasure, here's a picture-heavy visual update of our lives! In the beginning of July we went to Laramie Jubilee Days with Colin and Kassidy. Then we went down to Denver and hit up another Rockies game with them. Later in July we went to Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Brad Paisley concert. So good and so much fun! Friday, September 30, 2011. Wait, did I read that right? I recently got an email from my mother-in-law that had been forwarded from other people countless times. However, I thought it was funny, so I want to share- they're all typos that were found in non-LDS church bulletins. You might have to read some of them a couple times to catch the typo, but others are pretty obvious ;). The Fasting and Prayer Conference includes meals. Doesn't care much about you. Sunday, July 31, 2011. So this weekend, Zane's folks came to visit and we went to Cheyenne Frontier Days together- talk about an awesome rodeo! We got pretty good seats, and gratefully, we were in the shade the whole time. After we were done over in Cheyenne, we took them to a favorite local eatery of ours- Lovejoy's Bar and Grill.
