Ecosystem dynamics are much like the butterfly effect, in that, a small change at one place in a complex system can have large affects elsewhere. Much of the time we are not thinking about the consequential ripples of our actions. One such example is the widespread use of agricultural chemicals; do we know the ripple effects these chemicals pose to their applied ecosystems?
