Barefoot is Best!!: March 2010
http://sarahvance.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 9, 2010. I just finished reading three great books. So great that I neglected some things.that happens I guess. This has become one of my most favorite books and I'm wondering how I missed out when I was younger. I guess I read several sensational (as Jo would call it), popular, not very meaningful books as a young woman. But this one.WOW! To arrive in the mail. I'm a fan of older used books (cheap and cool) and so my. The second book was. Tarzan of the Apes. The world would have us become...

Barefoot is Best!!: Pre-Baby Campout
http://sarahvance.blogspot.com/2009/10/pre-baby-campout.html
Saturday, October 3, 2009. This was our last "getaway" before little Isaac was born. We wanted to go camping, but being 8 months along can put a cramp in your style! So we pitched the tent in the backyard and Jon made a fire pit (sorry about the smoke, neighbors) and we cooked hot dogs and s'mores and slept in the tent. It was SO MUCH FUN! Except that I got up 3 times in the night to come in the house and use the girls room. On the 3rd visit I crashed on the couch and said enough is enough! Good times fo...

Barefoot is Best!!: July 2009

Sunday, July 19, 2009. Can You Believe This Girl? Thankfully, this was after church! Mary's classic stinker face! What exactly am I teaching them when they get their church clothes all dirty. And I say "SMILE! And take their picture? But really, haven't we all had the urge to just get good and dirty! It all came out in the wash anyway (mostly), their giggles and shrieks were priceless, and they're only this little for a short time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Barefoot is Best!!: March 2009

Wednesday, March 18, 2009. I don't think I have ever seen such an amazing amount of expelled bodily fluids in such a short period of time! My energy for cleaning up after sick kids that didn't make it to a designated barfing recepticle is waning. The time allowed for movies is increasing.and I just hope Danny doesn't get it (the yuck)! Of course, he'd be the easiest to handle since he's older. So, if any of you were planning on coming to visit this or next week :) maybe April would be better! The Five Ch...

Barefoot is Best!!: November 2008
http://sarahvance.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. Nursery, nursery, nursery. Three weeks ago I was released from my calling as Relief Society teacher and was extended a calling to be the Nursery Leader. I have to say that for the first few moments I felt disappointed that it wasn't a "greater" calling, but that initial vanity left me quite quickly and was replaced with a happy, excited, grateful feeling. Today we were learning about how we can pray to Heavenly Father. We switched around our schedule so it goes like this:.

Barefoot is Best!!: February 2009
http://sarahvance.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2009. Last Saturday was a beautiful, serene day! We went to the St. Louis Temple without children! It's the first time we've done it! Don't get me wrong.we've enjoyed taking them along for the road trip and we've done some fun things along the way. But usually Jon or I go into the temple while the other of us goes to the park, or somewhere for lunch with the kids, then we switch. Wow, what a sweet blessing. The best Valentine's gift ever. Barefoot is Best!!: How to catch up?
http://sarahvance.blogspot.com/2010/01/how-to-catch-up.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. How to catch up? So much has happened in my life in the last while.I don't even know where to start. My friend Shannon says it feels like a chore to do her blog but she does it to document her life right now. Oh, that made me feel a little guilty. It does feel like a chore to me too, but it's also fun. He made our home there very beautiful. I was watching the screensaver slideshow on our computer this evening and the tears started to come. He has forgiven me. Only through Jesus C...

Thursday, February 10, 2011. Why don't I feel like that's funny? Said after we were all (except Joseph) laughing at something goofy. That just made us laugh more! Well, it's been almost a year since my last post.kinda pathetic. My computer is now in a better place where I see it a lot so I'll hopefully think about it. It used to be "outta sight, outta mind.". So, our Natey turned 8! And he was actually baptized right on his birthday! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Little House on t...
