Friday, August 1, 2008. This month I got the chance to bring the kids to the Lake Elmo Park Reserve and meet my friend Karen there with her 3 little boys. It was such a fun time! All the kids were so good and haveing so much fun. Even us mommies got to relax a bit! This is a man made lake only about 4 ft deep at the most, with lots of lifegaurds and big umbrellas. Hey, let me know if you want to meet up there some time! We went a ton last year, but haven't made it there this year.yet! Other blogs we love!

So, to keep people updated here are our latest events! 1 Ryan started 2nd grade. Yeah! However, the homework is absurd. Classroom reading assignments, spelling words, math homework, frequently used words to review and 20 minutes of reading. All of this-every night! Plus after school activities. He also got braces:(. 3 Natalie has got rid of the NUK! They are now 3,4, and 7!

January 7, 2009. And then it was over. We had a great New Year's Eve night with our good friends Katy and Andy. We went over to their house and again shared some great food and great wine! Hmmm seems to be a trend! I'm going to gain 100 lbs living here! There were 8 adults and 10 kids and believe it or not the kids were not that loud! July 20, 2008. A fun day at sea. So that was a fun difference! We then sailed for 2 1/2 hours to a little island off of St Maarten called Tintamarre. Once there we swam and played on the beach and also got a great mud bath! This is my third time to the island so my 3rd mud bath.but its so great and makes your skin so soft!
