Our Journey With Doose Syndrome: 912

http://ourjourneywithdoose.blogspot.com/2014/07/912.html

Sunday, July 6, 2014. That's how many days it has been since his last seizure. Two and a half years. Things were at their worst. Then and even though we rejoiced about a "no helmet day". In my heart, I was so worried that things would only spiral downhill again. That's the part that still always amazes me. God can see further down the road than we can, but trusting Him is not always the easiest for me. I'm thankful for His grace. I'm also reminded that the fight is not over yet for too many kids. Ben was...

Mash Munchkins: August 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 29, 2013. Monday, May 13th, Caden turned 42 weeks old in Hawaii! This was our view of the golf course (they were aerating and sanding it while we were there, which was some of the best entertainment possible for Zane - tractors zooming around. We had a 1 bedroom condo with a kitchen, so it worked out great for us. We checked out our first beach on Monday morning:. We had fun splashing around, checking out the fish even without snorkel gear, and spotted some little crabs in the rocks.

Mash Munchkins: November 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 26, 2013. On Thursday evening, we loaded the boys into the car in their pjs and dropped daddy off at the airport for his annual US Open trip that also tied into a work trip. After a less than smooth night, Caden woke up on Friday morning with his fourth tooth, the top left one. Then Zane refused to take a nap too. Once I stopped fighting it, we ran a few more errands, took Molly for a walk and went to a playground where we saw more of Caden's climbing skills. Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Mash Munchkins: July 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 6, 2013. The following week, April 22nd-28th, Caden turned 9 months old on Tuesday. During Caden's early morning photo shoot, Zane stumbled out of bed and helped me get some giggles out of Caden. I also couldn't resist getting a few pictures of Caden in his red striped jammies with his dogs before he outgrew them. I also learned that Zane eats way more carrots (at least for right now) if they're just peeled big carrots. Take that baby and cooked carrots! Friday, July 5, 2013. The real high...

Mash Munchkins: June 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Zane, on the other hand, had a very exciting week! On Wednesday, he ended his long standing boycott of the potties at school, and then declared that he wanted undies. So on Thursday and Friday, Zane went to school with a stack of clean undies and pants in his cubby. He was outrageously excited, and so were we! It was a success, and he only had one accident on Thursday. It was also close to his latest away from home potty break. Zane was a total potty champ! Although it was rainy on...

Mash Munchkins: February 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 28, 2013. On December 10th, Caden turned 20 weeks old. It was also the week of the move, so we were busy packing! Caden liked to be helpful during packing by snoozing in his bouncy seat (thank you, Caden! Packing also meant we turned up forgotten treasures like the duck whistle from the last time we went on the Ride the Ducks tour with some visitors. It turned out to be quite the dog whistle too (maybe Zane will be able to train Molly one day.):. On Friday the 14th, the movers came!

Mash Munchkins: January 2013

http://mashmunchkin.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 28, 2013. Caden turned 19 weeks old on Monday December 3rd, and the boys were particularly silly. Zane really likes to make trains, so while we were hanging out in the kitchen with Caden in his bouncy seat one day, Zane decided to make sure Caden was on board too and built the train out from Caden's seat (at one point I had a seat too! I was also playing with their maraca, and Caden thought it was hilarious. What's that boy doing? He also was cracking me up whenever I had scissors out for...
