Presntation methods - week 5 - Hero. This is a photo of my hero, my dad. I'm not going to go too far into it, but this photo doesn't make sense without a little bit of explanation. My dad was diagnosed with MS about 6 years ago, it started off with him losing feeling in his hands. This photo signifies that, as well as the topic of identity as a hero. My dad is my hero because he is an intelligent, kind, loving man, and I don't know where I would be without him. Presentation methods - week 3 - Skin Holes.

Just thought I would add a couple of my portfolio images to get the ball rolling. This is one of my favourite shots. It was taken here in Canberra, about 5 minutes away from where I live. I intend on getting it printed on canvas at some stage. This is one of my HDR (high dynamic range) images of the Church of St Andrew in Manuka. 3 exposures, Pentax K100D Super. This shot was taken at Weston Park. IR Converted Pentax K100D. This is a self portrait taken in my friends pool. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Josie Cosgrove: Stage 4 - Imaging
http://cosgrovestage1.blogspot.com/2011/02/stage-4-imaging.html
Stage 4 - Imaging. March 9, 2011 at 1:23 PM. March 20, 2011 at 5:00 PM. Dont forget, Monday March 21st, 9:55am at the Botanic Gardens for the UN Competition launch. March 25, 2011 at 1:54 PM. Great start Josie. I probably have to look at a bigger image, but it seems to me that the connection of his feet to the ground is a bit clunky still - you might need to either drop a shadow or fix the ground so he does seem to be standing on it, or do you want him floating? Josie Cosgrove - Workshop: Alexia Sinclair
http://josieworkshopstage5.blogspot.com/2011/03/alexia-sinclair.html
Josie Cosgrove - Workshop. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. The workshop with Alexia Sinclair was amazing, and I think I will find it the best workshop of the entire course. I really admire Alexia's work and I find her style and techniques are particularly relevant to what I intend to do for my folio. I already knew a fair bit about her work, but it was nice of her to go into detail of her planning process, shooting techniques and post production. It was really nice getting to know her as a person as well.

Location - Bungendore and Braidwood. Sorry for the great number of images, I just had a hard time picking my favourite ones. This is the woman in the lolly store in Braidwood (obviously), now I didn't get into great conversations with her like the bookstore man, but she seemed very nice. This is just the model release forms for the top two images, I just like to put it up for personal refference. (And I only just realised that the bookstore man got the date wrong! Turning and turning in the widening gyre.
