I went very slightly over my calories on Saturday but that was only to get my veggies in. I did get five servings fruits and veggies both days, but my water intake wasn't great at all. Thursday, January 11, 2007. I'm on program and even down six pounds, so all is well. Not going to post stats today because in my quest for health I'm actually concentrating on getting a full night's sleep. By the time I make it to bed there's no time for anything else but sleep. especially when AOL makes it so bloody difficult to maintain a blog to begin with. Thursday, July 28, 2005. Yeah so I cheated. I couldn't resist the scale. That's a ten pound loss from two weeks ago Saturday. And this is on the gym scale, which typically weighs me in several pounds heavier than the GNC scale. Will I hit 291 by August 1, my "official" weigh in? Only time will tell. And even if I don't, I know I'll be walking 2.5 miles by August 1 and that's more important. Up to 2 miles now. I'm only eating when I'm hungry, and keeping my portion sizes and calorie counts under control.

They really have "broken" through, and it's been painful and scary and a wee bit too much. I've just sort of filed them back and would do anything and everything else to keep my mind off of them. Granted I have been far more faithful to my Myspace blog than my AOL blog for a while now, but I didn't realize there was a big broughaha going on about the ads that now grace the top of these blogs. Considering that AOL is still fairly expensive in comparison to other ISPs, I think it is pretty cheesy that they milk advertisers for more money just because the blog phenomenon took off. Monday, March 29, 2010. Rick got attacked and mugged Friday. We spent 7 hours in the emergency room and after all the tests the ER let us go. He has a concussion and is black and blue all over. He tried to do too much today and got dizzy-he is stubborn and I can't get him to lie down too long. He might go to his regular doctor tomorrow to see if this dizziness from today is normal. Tuesday, August 17, 2010. New car fever won out. I was pleasantly surprised that the deal only took about 30 minutes and the finance took about 10 minutes. Then he wanted to go over the features of the car. I said I'm a technical person and had driven the car for a few hours and played with the buttons and figured most of them out and that I had only a few questions. He answered them while they detailed the car and gassed it up. New wheels are fun. Thinking about getting a Highlander Hybrid next time.
