Sunday, January 9, 2011. Happy new year 2011! With Christ in the Vessel, we can smile at the storm, as we go sailing home! I had this song ringing in my head throughout the 2 weeks of medical leave. Just as I did all that I can humanly, it was a reminder to me to always keep my eyes on Jesus when I am down. When it started, I thought I was having tension headaches. Yet, I wondered - What was I tense about? As I was bathing, (toilets are truly a wonderful place to think! I felt a prompting from the HS to ...

Geo & San: Faith

http://www.journeydownaisleandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/12/faith.html

Thursday, December 9, 2010. I remember in 2006, I made my way to Zambia with no money and no approval from parents, I bought air tickets by faith. Money came. Approval came. I went and returned, feeling refreshed. However, as I look back now, I realized that that level of faith and that amount of prayers is nothing compared to my prayers now. And so, the journey of faith continues. :D. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Its ok, I am here. A journey of faith begins II. A journey of faith begins.

Geo & San: A journey of faith begins...

http://www.journeydownaisleandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/12/only-8-months.html

Sunday, December 5, 2010. A journey of faith begins. There's this deep joy that's overflowing within me. I have received all sorts of blessings from God, in all various forms. Financial, emotional, physical, handphones, PDAs, etc. You name it, I have it. It seemed almost surreal, almost totally unreal. How could this be happening to me? A life is within me! Is it for real? God, you sure? You are so kind to me! Where is that faith? I kept this thought within me and unknowingly, Geo also had his thoughts -...

Geo & San: November 2009

http://www.journeydownaisleandbeyond.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 27, 2009. Cards written, envelops done, labels typewritten, labels pasted. One card given out to a close friend who's leaving Singapore, almost for good, then realized "OH! Went back home, conjure up a map and ta-da! Mummy's the angel who did 180 envelops for me! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://www.journeydownaisleandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/12/journey-of-faith-begins-ii.html

Monday, December 6, 2010. A journey of faith begins II. Yesh Am determined to find time, and write down this whole process of knowing that San and me will become parents by this time next year. It is such a GREAT blessing that I want to remember how God is in this whole deal. She asked. I kind of agreed relunctantly there and then. BUT, there was this tugging in my heart. I believe it is God's voice whispering and telling me,"Why must it be 60 days before San take the preganancy test"? Its ok, I am here.

A journey of faith and of love: Shifted and Settled

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2013/02/shifted-and-settled.html

Wednesday, February 06, 2013. Shifted and settled in. God is good. He granted us a really cool yet warm weather so there was no rain during the shift. I believe God must have heard those thoughts of mine and His thoughts are higher than mine! Faith adapted really well. She is already crawling ALONG with them now at Day 5. Her nap routine is back on track at Day 3 and her nights are a perfect 10 still. God knows my portion. He knows how much I can bear. Filled and decorated - Happy Faith! A Life of Colors.

A journey of faith and of love: Parenting - One Year Old

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2013/04/parenting-one-year-old.html

Wednesday, April 03, 2013. Parenting - One Year Old. After one year, I've learnt that:. 1 Parenting is an art! One has to multitask, be creative, be fully present. I had spoken to so many parents in my course of work and I have to admit, I am often, if not always child-focused. After being a parent, I experienced for myself what it really is like to be one. It is not easy. 2 Babies are like wet non-dripping sponge. They learn, they absorb and they implement! I see Faith mimicking me quite a bit. Only...

A journey of faith and of love: Counting down

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2013/01/counting-down.html

Wednesday, January 23, 2013. I can't help but recall the song that pierced right through my heart in the church camp of 2004 when I came back to God (yes, again) - When God Ran (by Philips, Craig and Dean). How many times had I tried to walk away from His purpose? How many Whys had I asked Him? How many times had I disobeyed and disappointed Him? Yet, in just one cry out to Him, He embraced me in His arms. Psalms 121, my favorite chapter in Psalms, says. I lift up my eyes to the mountains—. God just whis...

A journey of faith and of love: Abundance & Joy

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2013/01/abundance-joy.html

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. 2012 has been more than a challenging year to me. On top of managing a newborn baby, there are also other relationships to manage. Looking at 2012 now with a clearer mind, I can only say that things really could have been better but I do not want to live in the Could haves and Should haves and I wish and If only. 2013 brings about a lot of excitement for me. The most exciting yet scary excitement is that I am finally going to live out my dream - To be a stay home mom! I am al...

A journey of faith and of love: 9 months old

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2012/12/9-months-old.html

Wednesday, December 19, 2012. MUCH MUCH MUCH changes happened during the past one month. Significantly especially after a family trip to Lombok and Batam. Baby F has learnt that her hands can carry the weight of her bottle and she is holding it into her mouth pretty well! Hmm, except that she does get lazy and just drop it off or completely not want to hold it but we are trying to get her hands on the bottle at every opportunity. Hands! Hands are also for clapping! Sit sit, stand stand. :). Was I fearful...

A journey of faith and of love: Many Firsts

http://sandralim.blogspot.com/2013/05/many-firsts.html

Sunday, May 26, 2013. Pictures speak a thousand words. Got quite busy with the little one the past few weeks. The little one has finally reached the one year old mark and has started waddling in April and walking in mid May. She loves loves loves LOVES to play with water though I can't say much for bathing. Started to dislike bathing especially when she has to wash her hair but has completely no problem with a pail of water down her face when she's at the water playground. She stood at a table for 15 min...

One life, one journey, one dot at a time. making sense of it all from the inside, out. Finding happy in the ordinary of every day. Boy does it take work to live it, breathe it, and not be at war with it! It's taken me much work to discover that everything I need, want, or could ever hope for is right under my nose. Spent looking for that magical something that will make me happy. Wishing for a tomorrow that never came. Clinging onto hopes and . . . Posted in: self portraits. January 28, 2018. May 29, 2017.

Journey Down The Aisle

Journey Down The Aisle. Journey from single girl, to dating, to meeting Mr Right, getting engaged, and walking down the aisle. Tuesday, March 3. Choose to be Happy. Interesting question, isn't it? What's the first thing that comes to your mind if someone were to ask you that? Would you immediately reply with a yes, or would you pause to assess your current mood? If you were to ask an unemployed graduate if they were happy, what would you expect their response to be? I told her that my happiness didn't de...

I am helpless. It isn’t my fault. It takes forever to find a way out. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don’t see it. I fall in again.
