New Smile - Here I come! A documented journey through lower jaw surgery! Feel free to ask any questions! Sunday, April 3, 2011. I CAN CHEW AGAINNNN! So, I've been feeling soreness around my lower jaw and when I asked my surgeon about it, he said it's because the muscles are very tense. He told me to start massaging them and it'll get better! I'm trying to see if my parents insurance covers lymph node massage, which I heard helps a lot with swelling. Still no numbness, and no regrets ;).

All is going well. eating is awesome! I don't regret the surgery one bit! Oh and, I decided to cut most of my hair off. it was so thin after the surgery, I just wanted to start all over and let it heal over summer!
