Monday, August 9, 2010. The Old and the New. I found this gem of a picture atop Mount Washington in Pittsburgh. The silver domed building is the Mellon Arena former home of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the arena right beside with the white roof is the Consol Energy Center the new home of the Penguins. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Ocean City, NJ. We spent a few days vacation in Ocean City, NJ. This was a wonderful beach town that was suited for families. It is an old town that has businesses conducted mostly from families. There are not any commercial businesses in the city, like chain hotels and restaurants. The beach is rather clean and a fee is required to use the beach. This looks a quiet place to spend a holiday; but having to pay for the beach doesnt fit in the concept. ;). July 23, 2010 at 4:27 AM.

Monday, June 21, 2010. Pirates vs. Giants. We took Jensen to his first Major League Baseball game last week in Pittsburgh. Every Sunday game is kids day at the park with different activities on the street outside the stadium. Once inside, each child receives a free gift from the team. This game it happened to be an Andrew McCutcheon jersey. The best thing about this game was seeing Tim Lincecum of the San Francisco Giants pitch. So Ghana made it. ;-(. Meanwhile, Blogtrotter Two discovers Sardinia!

Saturday, August 7, 2010. Had a great time at the Bret Michaels concert lastnight. He has been one of my favorites for a long time. He performed a lot of the Poison hits along with a few of his own songs. Nothing beats hearing Talk Dirty to Me live. Without a doubt, Every Rose Has Its Thorn is the best power ballad ever.
