http://hodgkinsrace.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
This blog describes my experiences with treatment for Hodgkin's Disease. I hope that you find the information in it helpful, and that you're happy to find a virtual Hodgkin's friend in me. Sunday, April 02, 2006. On the whole, though, I would say I felt back to normal 6-8 months post chemo. It has been most liberating to be involved with the normal and not be consumed with thoughts of how I'm feeling physically. Also, my hair is coming in like gangbusters. It is darker (with much gray! This may be too much information for you, but it's a milestone. Things are finally getting so hairy that the hair needs to be controlled. YEAH! Posted by Julie Hamilton at 4:09 PM.

Lightning Twice: Not dead, despite all evidence to the contrary
http://portuguesewashwoman.blogspot.com/2007/09/not-dead-despite-all-evidence-to.html
Watch out, coming through, whoop whoop! Monday, September 03, 2007. Not dead, despite all evidence to the contrary. So we’re trying to get into better habits this fall, and I’m taking the rest of the year to try to rethink my horrible food ideas. I’m such a horrible ‘all or nothing’ thinker. As in “well, today I’ve been bad so I may as well have a few scoops of ice cream.” Strangely knowing this about myself does not seem to make it better. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lightning Twice: The cereal wars

Watch out, coming through, whoop whoop! Wednesday, September 05, 2007. Lord, this is such a mind game, isn't it? Also, I've decided to slow down my 5k plan a little and aim for being able to run that by later this year. There's a group training club for beginning runners that begins early in January for people who want to run the Kentucky Derby half marathon, and I want to train for that. It feels good to have a plan again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). How did I get up this creek? Run Like Hell 5k.

http://portuguesewashwoman.blogspot.com/2007/02/trauma-of-starting-over.html
Watch out, coming through, whoop whoop! Sunday, February 11, 2007. The trauma of starting over. So last weekend my sister called to say her next-door-neighbor had put a decent treadmill out on the curb with a sign that said "free" and did I want it? Ok, here's a GREAT story to inspire you as you "start over" about an event I witnessed at the 2000 Boston Marathon, The Greatest Marathoner. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
