Wednesday, January 04, 2006. Combined Federal Campaign-Kids for the Kingdom. Yes, for those in the military, it is Combined Federal Campaign time again. I found in organization that I am giving to this year, and would encourage others to consider supporting as well. It is an organizaiton called "Kids of the Kingdom". No matter how many stockings we gave out, there just seemed to be more to give away. After a while, we decided to move the chair and Santa over to the dining facility, where over 2000 people eat. We stayed their for about 30 minutes taking pictures and handing out the remaining stockings. It was an incredible event. Thursday, December 15, 2005.

Thursday, December 15, 2005. I woke up very reflective this morning. Today is a historical day. You can feel it in the air here. The locals are not coming to work today. Today is too important to them. Today they vote. There are hundreds of workers manning poll sites. They are being interviewed by every media network across the globe.
