Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Fine Arts and the Science Fair at Key Elementary. Emily won second place in 4th grade division at the school Science Fair:. She was sooooo excited she had a hard time falling asleep that night. She also had 3 exhibits in the art show. For some reason I only have pictures of two. They also had a violin concert but sadly I left my camera at home. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Fine Arts and the Science Fair at Key Elementary.

Combs Family Chronicles: September 2008
http://combsfamilychronicles.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 15, 2008. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. We drove to Joplin Missouri on Labor Day. Emily got to add a sticker to another state she has visited. I know, Joplin is barely in to Missouri but it counts. We passed the state sign. It was a beautiful day and not a bad drive. We went to the Precious Moments Museum. Since I was expecting just a bunch of cute little knick knacks lined up on a shelf it was way better than I imagined. It is really Sam Butcher's gift back to God for the. Watermark temp...

Combs Family Chronicles: March 2009
http://combsfamilychronicles.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 10, 2009. That swing sure can be dangerous. Emily loves to swing in the tree swing in our yard. But sometimes the swing can be dangerous. But don't worry Emily can always find the silver lining in any situation. Last year she was swinging in the tree swing and Grandma was watching. I guess she got a little to twirlley because her hair got tangled in the rope and Grandma had to do the only thing she could think to do and cut it out. Friday, March 6, 2009. For Whom the "Earrings" Toll. Oh ye...

Sunday, October 12, 2008. Emily turned 10 today. We've had 3 days of celebration. Friday, I took cupcakes, chips and drinks to her class. And today, she received several presents from friends at church. Then our small group gave her more presents and they topped it off with a cake at Red Robin. Needless to say Emily went to bed with a stomach ache. Here are a few pictures from her Tea Party. Ashlyn, Emily Calico, Zoe, Latavia, Emily and Kaylyn. All dressed up and ready for tea. Combs Family Chronicles: April 2009
http://combsfamilychronicles.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. November 28, 1955 - April 18, 2009. She was pronounced dead at 8:13 pm by the EMSA tech. Truthfully, she began dying Friday evening when I dropped her off at her apartment. She said she was weak. I said I know. We left her with her beloved Jackie and a 24 pack of Coke. I called on Saturday but she never answered. I wish I had known that it would be our last good bye. I wish I had checked on her sooner. The last thing I said to her was - Mary I love you. She responded I love...

Combs Family Chronicles: January 2009
http://combsfamilychronicles.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Best little bird house in Texas. How many Combs' does it take to put up a bird house? Three - 2 to hold the ladder and 1 to hold the level to make sure that the bird house is precisly level and birds don't crack their heads flying in. But if Anna has her way it's so that the pictures will hang straight on the wall. Aunt Lisa this is so exciting! Do you think we can get some little tiny wood and make some little furniture for the bird house? Uh No Anna I don't. Then got back in ...

Combs Family Chronicles: December 2008

Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Rare sighting of a an allusive bird/son in law makes for a very happy Thanksgiving. The allusive Manning bird was difficult to photograph and we were beginning to wonder if we actually had sighted him or if it was just a look a like bird slipping in to trick us. Emily couldn't wait to show Noble her trampoline. Noble liked it.for about 5 seconds but it was still fun. We went to Rhema Bible College to check out the Christmas Lights. They were beautiful! A few of the lights.

Sunday, November 2, 2008. Cutest Little Witch in the West. And we had the cutest little witch that ever begged for candy at anyones door. She and Dad knocked doors in Grandma's neighborhood. It was a beautiful evening, perfect for all the ghost and goblins. They collected a substantial amount of booty, enough for all of us to enjoy. She then came home and did what every red blooded American child does.she dumped it out on the floor and sorted it out. We are hungry or wet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Combs Family Chronicles: The most PERFECT Snowman
http://combsfamilychronicles.blogspot.com/2009/12/most-perfect-snowman.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. The most PERFECT Snowman. Christmas Eve we had a blizzard,. Which meant that we had a White Christmas. Which meant we had a lot less guests than we had planned for. But it was perfect! I'm thinking - WOW and David said you couldn't build a snow man cause the snow was too dry and this one was taller than the man building it. I was in awe of this snowman and about to go get my camera when David said. LISA that is a blowup Snowman! Maybe I should get my eyes checked.
