Mom and Dad go to Amethyst Basin (without me)! So this is the rest of the story relating to my broken arm- Mom and Dad were off backpacking in the snow when it happened! Anyway, I decided to share some of their pictures with you just for kicks! Hope you enjoy them! Mom taking a breather on the the way up. Dad stopping to get a snack. This is the Ostler Fork of the Bear River. It was really beautiful with all the snow and ice. A nice picture of an icicle on a Douglas Fir. This is the actual Amethyst Lake!

So I finally got to try my pool out this summer! It was a little scary at first and I didn't know what to think about all that water! It wasn't nearly as warm as my bathtub! But Grandma had a towel to keep me warm when I got out of the water! She was a lot of fun to swim with! The sun was also nice and warm, and I enjoyed lounging in the chairs for a while! There were a lot of things to explore outside as well. My favorite was the hose.and that sprinkler thing that makes it rain on the end of it! The wat...

Christmas Time.and a Little More! Well, Christmas has finally come.what do I mean finally! I can't believe it is already here! Something strange happens with age- time goes by soooooo much faster! I remember being a little girl and it seemed like my birthday and then Christmas would never come, and the closer they got, the slower time seemed to move! Now I'm already 29 and here come Christmas tomorrow! Anyway, we thought we'd share some of our pictures from getting ready for this wonderful holiday season!

Lydi-Bug's Big No. 1! So Saturday was Lydia's first birthday! I can't believe it has been a year since she came! It was a fun day and we got to spend some time with Grandmas and Grandpas! Lydia had a good time and got quite the haul! Opening presents went well, but we had to play with each one before we could move on to the next one! I'm not sure if the presents are the main event, or the wrapping materials! And of course, everyone loves to tear paper! So, this is my first attempt at a birthday cake!

So as many of you know, we have been working on getting our basement finished. Well, the time came to finally get carpet installed, and that meant doing some repainting upstairs before the new carpet was in! Lydia loved giving the directions.or rather ultimatums! She also thought she was pretty good help! There went the bucket of water! But no worries, because we found another bucket of water to play in a little later! And it was bigger as well.and that mean more fun, right? If she has a free second,.

Aunt Molly and Uncle Jordan got married this week! I got to dress up like a little princess and eat lots of yummy food.as you'll see a little later! We had a lot of fun as a family. My mom and dad are the best ever! Even though I was a bit ornery after waking up from a nap, I did agree to for a small photo shoot with the bride! Otherwise, I could simply be found showing of my dress and enjoying the constant attention from everyone at the party! The flowers were beautiful! Almost as beautiful as me! He lo...

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! I have to admit that mine has been fabulous.and I got a lot of toys and candy! Mom is so glad that the chocolate is nearly gone.but she's worried about what I'll eat when there is no more of it to have for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Anyway, we've still been having a lot of fun and staying busy even though it has been cold outside! I thought I'd share with you my recent adventures, as captured by Mom's new camera! And they call me the spoiled one! We ha...
