Send your horses to Jeju | Here on Jeju
https://judyjeju.wordpress.com/2015/05/26/send-your-horses-to-jeju
May 26, 2015. Send your horses to Jeju. We passed many horses on Olle 14.1, especially on top of Mundoji Oreum, where they roamed freely. Many of the ponies we see are tethered, in fields or even occasionally behind vans as they trot along to work providing rides for visitors. Horses are still being brought to Jeju – a few weeks ago we watched a polo match at the only polo ground in Korea. Many of the horses had been imported from Argentina. Laquo; Previous post. Gonaebong – Notes from a Korean island
https://alanonjeju.wordpress.com/2015/05/05/gonaebong
Notes from a Korean island. May 5, 2015. This is one of Jeju’s shamanic shrines. A description of shrines, their meaning and history, is given on the Culture and Nature pages of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Website. That page talks about historical attempts to eradicate shamanism; the challenge today is to preserve this part of the island’s heritage in the face of declining interest in shamanism. Olle 18-1 – Notes from a Korean island

Notes from a Korean island. May 28, 2015. You can walk around the island in one day – that’s what Olle 18-1 does. The guide book describes the trail as hard and I can vouch for that; it’s no longer than the trails on Jeju but there are a lot of hills to climb. This entry was tagged Olle trail. Olle 14-1: through the gotjawal – Notes from a Korean island

Notes from a Korean island. May 25, 2015. Olle 14-1: through the gotjawal. It’s also the trail that passes closest to Global Education City, the closest point being the O’Sulloc tea plantation at around halfway. This attracts huge numbers of visitors, who probably have no idea why less-than-immaculate hikers are passing through their midst. This entry was tagged Global Education City. Olle 18-1 →. Guardians – Notes from a Korean island
https://alanonjeju.wordpress.com/2015/04/23/guardians
Notes from a Korean island. April 23, 2015. This isn’t just any pair. These sit either side of our front door. We even saw the final touches being made to the ear of one of them in the masons yard. If there any demons around here, they won’t be coming in through the front door. This entry was tagged Jeju culture. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. How can we change people’s behaviour? | View from the fence

View from the fence. Social, environmental and economic issues surrounding GM foods, and the latest news. How can we change people’s behaviour? July 6, 2015. Take healthy eating as an example – it’s widely known what a healthy diet looks like, and also widely ignored. So I was interested to read a Global Food Security blog post. About research into behaviour change. What could make people switch to a healthy, sustainable diet. This seemed relevant when Twitter (OK, @HStiles1. Towards greener choices....
