Jens und Karin's Guam News. Neues aus Guam und Mikronesien. September 15, 2008. Guam, den 15.09.2008. Die letzten zwei Wochen waren viel Arbeit. Mit all dem registrieren der neuen Studenten und die ersten zwe. I Wochen fuer Jens als Lehrer. Da kam eine kleine Unterbrechung gerade recht. Die Lutheran Church of Guam hat PIBC herausgefordert. Gespielt wurde Basketball, Volleyball und zum Schluss noch Tauziehen. So, Ende gut, alles gut? Am Sonntag ja, aber beim PIBC sel. Karin and Jens Schulz.

Mehr den Blog erneuern. Das sind naemlich unsere Plaene bisher und mal sehen, wofuer wir Zeit zwischendurch finden:. Abflug von Guam nach Chicago: 12.08. Rueckfahrt nach Bredenbeck am 14.09.

Jens und Karin's Guam News. Neues aus Guam und Mikronesien. April 13, 2009. Auch hier in Guam feiern wir die Auferstehung Jesu, in Erinnerung daran, dass das Grab, in das er vor ueber 2000 Jahren gelegt wurde, nach 3 Tagen leer war und etliche Leute ihn danach lebendig gesehen haben. Auferstanden - Gott hat den Tod besiegt! Wir haben Ostern hier mit einem wunderschoenen Morgengottesdienst (um 6.00. Uhr) am Strand gefeiert. Waehrend des Gottesdienstes wurde es langsam immer heller als die Sonne aufging.

Noch Anfang des Jahres habe ich in Deutschland geschwitzt (vielmehr gefroren) um mit meinem Studium abzuschliessen. Seit Sommer bin ich nun fertig und seit September unterrichte ich einen Kurs. Was habe ich dabei bemerkt: Es macht mir Spass, mein Wissen weiter zugeben. Aber es ist immer noch viel an Vorbereitung. Nur das ich keine Test m. Ehr schreibe, sondern schreiben lasse. On Sunday November 1st my co-worker Kalvin was baptized by Austin Evers who is the head of the University of Guam Student ministry. After his baptism, Kalvin decided to change his name to "Daniel".
